Q: What Internet access options do you offer?
A: We offer the following Internet access products:
- Type: ADSL.
- Speeds: 1M-24M.
- Contention ratios: 2:1, 5:1, 10:1 20:1 50:1.
- Type: SDSL.
- Speeds: 1M, 2M, 4M and 8M (4M & 8M are Bonded).
- Contention ratios: 1:1, 2:1, 5:1 10:1.
- Type: Leased Line.
- Speeds: 2M, 4M, 8M 10M, 34M, 48M.
- Type: Ethernet Service.
- Speeds: 2M/10M, 4M/10M, 6M/10M, 8M/10M, 10M, 10M/100M then in 10M increments to 100M/100M, or Gbit.
Q: How do you offer high levels of availability?
A: By combining traditional Internet access with our 3G services, we can ensure far higher levels of access as it is usually the access line that causes the majority of faults.
Q: What Internet suppliers do you promote?
A: We sell the services of BT, THUS, Viatel, Uniworld, COLT, CW, Frontier and Griffin.
Q: I want to run voice over my contended service… how can you guarantee the quality?
A: We don’t…that’s why we don’t promote voice over the higher contended services. We do not make false claims and promise the undeliverable.
Q: Why do I need a fixed IP address?
A: Some spam sensors will only allow email from identifiable sources such as fixed IP addresses. You will also need a fixed IP address if you want to allow off site staff to access your systems remotely etc.
Q: I am beyond the distance limitations for broadband… can you help?
A: Yes, we can provision dedicated circuits and satellite access to the Internet.
Q: What routers do you supply?
A: We supply all the leading brands of routers. We have different router management services which help to diagnose faults with these routers.
Q: What performance statistics can you give me?
A: The range of statistics is usually better sourced through the router management interface, however, some of our network providers give comprehensive statistics.
Q: We need to design and develop our Web Site. Can you help?
A: Simplisity work with several specialist website developers, who can take care of the design and development of it. They can produce anything from a single Web Page, through to a basic Web Site to a complete Web Site using photographs, images, animated graphics, input forms, frames, maps, secure payment via credit card etc. Contact us for further information.
