Crosslink Mobile FAQ's

Q: Why do I need a separate licence agreement with Gamma

A: Gamma owns the licensing rights to Crosslink in UK. We are an authorised distributor for this software.

Q: What happens if my handset is unsuitable for Crosslink?

A: We are happy to provide a new handset. Alternatively, why not take this opportunity to review your current mobile contract and we will be able to provide new handsets as part of that deal.

Q: How long will it take for me to get Crosslink?

A: It takes us 48hrs to process your order and set up your account. You will start to save immediately after this.

Q: How is Crosslink different to using my network provider to make calls on?

A: The only difference is a slightly longer call connection time when a call is routed via Crosslink. There is a progress bar to indicate that the call is being rerouted over Simplisity’s network to reduce call costs.

Q: Can I use Crosslink when I am abroad?

A: No not yet. We hope to launch this facility in Q2 2010. In the meantime, please use our Away SIM to save significant money when roaming outside the UK.

Q: Who do I contract with and for what?

A: Your contract will be with Simplisity Communications and your licence is with Gamma Telecom.

Q: How do I Get the Crosslink service on to my mobile.

A: All you have to do is select the make of handset you have from the following pull down menu. You'll be diverted to the relavent installation page. The rest is a very straightforward process and you will be able to start saving money in under 3 minutes:
