Q: Are all 08XX and 09XX networks the same?
A: They offer similar facilities and functions. Some are better placed to handle higher volumes at certain times. The income generated and the on-line tools you use also differ.
Q: I have an existing 08XX number; can I transfer this to you to manage?
A: 95 times out of 100 the answer is yes. Simply let us know your existing number and we can check to see what your options are for an alternative network.
Q: I understand that OFCOM are changing the pricing of 0870 numbers. Is this correct?
A: Yes it is correct. From January 2008 the cost to call an 0870 number will reduce from around
8p per minute to the same rate as calling a standard UK local or national call (01 or 02).
Q: How can I use these numbers to measure different marketing campaigns?
A: The easiest way would be to have a different number for each campaign. You could measure the volume of calls to that number. Another great way is to use the same number but in different geographical areas and again, we can measure the volume and responses by understanding where the calls originate.
